Philippians 3:13-14

This piece of art was done recently, and like all of my artwork it has a meaning behind it. The scripture verse in the cloud gives you a hint, but for those who don’t have a Bible I’ll explain anyway.

Philippians 3:13-14

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

This was done in the point of my life where I just really needed to move on. I had a lot of un-forgiveness in a specific situation which had a hold on me for about three years. The tree signifies the situation that was going on, the branches are the ripples from that event. And the bird is me, about to take flight from the tree. Good riddance.
